ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day for ASTIGMATISM – 30 Lenses
ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day for ASTIGMATISM by Johnson & Johnson Vision is a daily disposable soft Toric contact lens designed specifically to correct astigmatism associated with myopia or hyperopia while providing clear, stable vision and comfortable daily wear.
The lens combines three key technologies: TearStable™ Technology, OptiBlue™ Light Filter, and Cylinder Optimized BLINK STABILIZED® Design, delivering a combination of moisture support, visual stability, and performance under different lighting conditions.
TearStable™ Technology
The lenses feature TearStable™ Technology, designed to help retain moisture and optimize the distribution of the wetting agent throughout the lens material and across its surface.
This helps support tear-film stability and maintain comfortable wear throughout the day.
TearStable™ is one of the key technologies in the ACUVUE OASYS MAX 1-Day family and is designed for the demands of modern lifestyles, including extended use of digital devices and challenging environments that may contribute to dryness.
OptiBlue™ Light Filter
The lens features an:
OptiBlue™ Light Filter
which filters approximately:
60% of Blue-Violet Light
within the wavelength range targeted by the technology.
The filter is designed to help reduce light scatter and support visual clarity under different lighting conditions.
Blue-violet light filtering should not be described as a treatment for digital eye strain or as proven health protection for the retina, as the manufacturer does not claim an established therapeutic ocular health benefit from this feature.
Cylinder Optimized BLINK STABILIZED® Design
The astigmatism version features:
Cylinder Optimized BLINK STABILIZED® Design
This stabilization system works with the natural movement of the eyelids during blinking to help orient and stabilize the lens on the eye.
Maintaining the correct orientation is particularly important in toric lenses because rotation can affect the alignment of the astigmatism correction.
The design helps provide clear and stable vision during blinking, eye movement, head movement, and everyday activities.
Lens Material
The lens is made from:
senofilcon A
Material type:
Silicone Hydrogel
Water content:
38%
Oxygen transmissibility:
Dk/t = 129 × 10⁻⁹ @ -3.00D
Reference center thickness:
0.080 mm @ -3.00D
Lens Parameters
Base Curve: 8.5 mm
Diameter: 14.3 mm
These are the published parameters for this version of the lens.
Prescription Range
The lens covers a broad range of toric prescriptions.
For Plano and lower minus powers, the published range extends from Plano to -6.00D in 0.25D steps.
Higher minus powers extend from -6.50D to -9.00D in 0.50D steps.
Plus powers are available up to +4.00D within the published parameter combinations.
Published Cylinder options include:
-0.75D / -1.25D / -1.75D / -2.25D
Actual SPH + CYL + AXIS combinations vary according to sphere power and market availability, so store options should reflect the combinations supplied in the relevant market.
UV Protection
The lenses feature the highest UV-blocking classification available within the ACUVUE classification system:
Class 1 UV Blocking
Approximate UV blocking:
UVB: 100%
UVA: 99.9%
Warning: UV-blocking contact lenses are not a substitute for UV-protective sunglasses because contact lenses do not completely cover the eye or surrounding area.
